members of the English department are delighted to announce that
Spotlight – Das Magazin für Englisch - has taken over the sponsorship
for his year’s English Abitur-prize. The prize will be a six month
subscription of “Spotlight” and will be awarded for the best
achievement in English. It will be handed over at the

On our notice board, which can be found on the wall next to the teachers room, notices, information and announcements are posted.
There you can read if lessons are not taking place or you can get information when and where meetings or events occurr.
In our school, there are three big laboratories. There, you have the opportunity for experimentation, observation, or practice in a field of study. At these places you have to obey rules like wearing safety glasses or dealing with chemicals very sparingly.
This is a place used by students to recreate, pass the lunch break or to meet other students. The atrium is a very favoured place.

Actually the former smokers corner! Now smoking isn't allowed at our school anymore, it became a non- smoking school! So the students can use the place to sit and talk or simply to recreate.
In this room the students from BTG and EG (our two Upper Secondary Vocational Schools) can relax, make tea, coffee or even a small meal when they have long breaks before afternoon school.
The library for students
has been named the Georg-Elser-Student's Library of the
Sibilla-Egen-Schule. Georg Elser was a resistant fighter against the
Nazi regime who tried
to kill Hitler with a bomb in 1938. Hitler, Himmler and Goebbels
escaped the attack only
by chance. Elser was almost forgotten in Germany for about 40 years,
but in recent years he has been recognised as a
historic personality who can be compared with Count Stauffenberg or
Sophie and Hans
Scholl.
The library itself offers the students opportunities to use different
kinds of media. In
addition to books on various subjects there are also some films, CDs,
audio books and
computers with internet access which can be used by students for
learning or reseach.
The Secretary's office is the place where students have to go to if they have any administrative requests.
If you want to talk with a teacher you can to go to the staffroom and see if anybody is there.
